These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the courses, materials, and services offered by Samruay ("we," "us," or "our"), a healthcare cost planning education provider based in Bangkok, Thailand. By enrolling in any course or using our website, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Definitions
Throughout this agreement, the following terms carry the meanings defined below:
- "Service" โ the educational courses, materials, workshops, advisory sessions, and related content provided by Samruay, whether delivered online, in person, or as downloadable resources.
- "User" or "Participant" โ any individual who enrolls in, accesses, or uses our courses or website.
- "We / Us / Our" โ Samruay, the provider of healthcare cost planning education.
- "Content" โ all course materials, worksheets, guides, presentation slides, audio recordings, written documents, and advisory session outputs.
- "Agreement" โ these Terms and Conditions as amended from time to time.
- "Enrollment" โ the act of registering for and completing payment for a course.
Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling in a Samruay course, submitting your contact information, or accessing our course materials, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions in full.
- You are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
- You agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement and any supplemental policies referenced herein.
- If enrolling on behalf of another person, you represent that you have the authority to do so and that the participant also agrees to these terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with enrollment or use of our services.
Service Description
Samruay offers structured educational courses on healthcare cost preparation and planning for adults over 40 residing in or connected to Thailand. Our current course offerings are:
- Estimating Your Future Healthcare Costs โ an introductory course covering common health-related costs, the Thai universal health coverage scheme, and cost estimation approaches. Price: เธฟ4,200.
- Insurance and Savings for Health Expenses โ a course covering health insurance structures, savings strategies, and personalized planning. Price: เธฟ9,800.
- Long-Term Health and Care Cost Strategy โ a comprehensive course on eldercare, long-term care coordination, and building a healthcare reserve. Price: เธฟ16,500.
Course schedules, formats, and content may be updated from time to time to reflect developments in Thai healthcare and financial planning. We will communicate material changes to enrolled participants in advance.
Geographic availability: Our courses are designed for participants in Thailand. Certain content may not be applicable to participants residing outside Thailand.
Enrollment and Access
- Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment for the selected course.
- Access to course materials is provided to the enrolled participant only and is non-transferable.
- Participants are responsible for ensuring they have suitable technology and internet access to attend sessions and download materials.
- Live session dates and times will be communicated upon enrollment. Where rescheduling is necessary, we will provide reasonable notice.
- Certificates of completion, where offered, are issued to participants who complete the required sessions and coursework. We make no representations regarding the recognition of such certificates by any external body or institution.
- Account credentials or access links must not be shared with third parties.
User Responsibilities
As a participant, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during enrollment and in any advisory sessions.
- Engage respectfully with course facilitators, advisors, and other participants during live sessions.
- Not record, reproduce, distribute, or sell course materials without our prior written permission.
- Not use course content for commercial purposes or in a manner that misrepresents our services.
- Not engage in disruptive, harmful, or abusive conduct during any live or interactive session.
- Keep your contact and payment details up to date.
We reserve the right to remove a participant from a course without refund if these responsibilities are materially breached.
Intellectual Property
All course materials, including worksheets, slides, guides, session recordings, and written documents, are the intellectual property of Samruay or our licensed content partners.
- Upon enrollment and payment, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use course materials for your own private, non-commercial study.
- You may not reproduce, publish, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works from our materials without written permission.
- Sharing course access credentials or materials with individuals who have not enrolled constitutes a breach of this agreement.
- Where participants produce written strategy documents or planning outputs with advisor support, those documents are for the participant's personal use. We retain no right to publish or share participant-specific financial plans without consent.
Payment and Fees
- All course fees are listed and charged in Thai Baht (เธฟ).
- Full payment is required at the time of enrollment unless a payment plan has been expressly agreed in writing.
- Accepted payment methods will be confirmed during the enrollment process.
- Prices are inclusive of applicable Thai VAT where required by law.
- We reserve the right to adjust course pricing for future enrollments. Price changes do not affect participants who have already enrolled and paid.
- If a payment fails or is reversed, access to course materials may be suspended until payment is resolved.
Refund Policy
We understand that circumstances change. Our refund policy is as follows:
- Within 7 days of enrollment, if the first live session has not yet taken place and no course materials have been downloaded, a full refund may be requested.
- After the first session or material download, refunds are not available, as significant preparation and advisor time has been committed.
- If we cancel a course or scheduled session without rescheduling within a reasonable period, affected participants will receive a proportional credit or full refund, as appropriate.
- Refund requests should be submitted to [email protected] with your enrollment details.
We aim to handle all refund inquiries with fairness and understanding.
Disclaimers
- Samruay provides educational content only. Nothing in our courses, materials, or advisory sessions constitutes personalised financial advice, legal advice, or medical advice.
- The information presented reflects general conditions in the Thai healthcare and financial system as understood at the time of course development. Regulatory, pricing, and policy environments change over time.
- Individual healthcare costs and financial outcomes are highly personal and variable. We make no representations about specific results any participant may experience after completing our courses.
- Our courses are provided in good faith and with reasonable care. However, we cannot warrant that they are free from inaccuracies or that all information will remain current throughout your study period.
- Where advisors provide session input, that input is educational and supportive in nature, not a substitute for consultation with a licensed financial advisor, insurance broker, or healthcare professional.
Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted under Thai law, Samruay's total liability to any participant for claims arising out of or in connection with our courses shall not exceed the amount paid by that participant for the relevant course.
- We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to decisions made in reliance on course content.
- Force majeure: we shall not be liable for delays or failure to deliver services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including public health emergencies, natural events, or infrastructure disruptions. In such cases, we will endeavour to reschedule affected sessions.
Termination
- You may withdraw from a course at any time, subject to the refund terms above.
- We may suspend or terminate a participant's access to a course if they breach these terms, engage in disruptive conduct, or fail to resolve a payment issue within a reasonable timeframe.
- Upon termination, you lose the right to access course materials and sessions. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and dispute resolution survive termination.
Dispute Resolution
If a concern arises regarding our services, we encourage you to contact us first at [email protected] so that we can work toward a resolution informally.
- Governing Law: This agreement is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.
- Jurisdiction: Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bangkok, Thailand.
- Thai consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522 (1979) and its amendments, apply to your use of our services.
General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the full agreement between you and Samruay regarding our services.
- Severability: If any provision of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision at a particular time does not waive our right to enforce it in the future.
- Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your enrollment or rights under this agreement to another person. We may transfer our rights and obligations with reasonable notice.
- Language: This agreement is written in English. In the event of any inconsistency with a translated version, the English text prevails.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or operational practices.
- Material changes will be communicated to enrolled participants via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
- The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
- Continued use of our courses or website after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
- If you do not agree with a material change, you may withdraw from a course subject to our refund policy.
